The Myopia Hunt welcomes all enthusiasts to participate as Subscribers, Patrons, and Cappers, and to enjoy the sport by following the hunt. We thank our many generous Landowners for making the hunt possible.
There are two Fields, a Jumping Field and a Hilltopping Field for those who desire to view the hounds at a slower pace. The Myopia Hunt also offers meets dedicated to Juniors during all seasons. We meet on Saturday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
Our season includes Spring Roading, Summer Hound Exercise, Fall Roading, Cubbing, and a Formal Season.
We are happy to have you with us and look forward to having you join us often!
Sincerely,
The Myopia Hunt Committee

Brian Kiely is Myopia Huntsman
Join us on May 4th for the Spring Hunt Dinner and meet our new Huntsman, Brian Kiely!
Brian comes to Myopia with nineteen years of hunt experience beginning in his native Ireland as a Whipper-in for the Island Hunt and Waterford Hunt. His U.S. career began as a Whipper-in for the Piedmont Foxhounds in Virginia before becoming Huntsman for the Los Altos Hunt in California and then the Rolling Rock Hunt in Pennsylvania. More...
Pam Carlson deVries is New Hunt Secretary
It is with great pleasure that we announce that Pam Carlson deVries has accepted the role of Hunt Secretary.
Pam began hunting with Myopia in 1997, and has been the organizer of the Landowners' Picnic at Mrs. Sears' since 2002. She is a familiar sight in our first flight on her wonderful horse Peregrin - "Perry" - who willingly and safely jumps through all our hunt country. Pam has also hunted in Virginia with the Middleburg, Orange, Piedmont and Old Dominion Hunts.
Her love of our sport is contagious and we are excited to have her as part of the team!
Please note that the Myopia Spring Hunt Dinner date has been changed to Friday, May 4, and the Spring Hunter Pace to Sunday, May 20, so mark your calendars!
We look forward to seeing you next month.
