99 Teams of 266 riders enjoyed a perfect fall day on lovely footing at the Myopia Fall Hunter Pace!

Our deep appreciation to our many generous landowners, including Mr. and Mrs. Donald V. Little, Mr. Chuck Hill, Ms. Ashley Hill, Mrs. Ann Getchell, Mr. and Mrs. Frederic Winthrop, Mrs. Walter Smith, and the Trustees of Reservations at Appleton Farms, for opening their properties to us. Many landowners permitted us to enjoy beautiful fields, trails and jumps not normally open to riders.

Mr. John Brotchie led a crew of phenomenal volunteers to make every detail perfect for our riders!
Haskell and Alison Crocker, Kelly Arsenian, Tom Evarts, Brian Hogan, Doug Mahoney, Patrick Keough, and Huntsman Robert Howarth designed and marked the lovely course for you. Andy Eaton dressed our jumps and tent in lovely fall colors. Carrie Merriman, Gwyn Bertelson, Joan Richards, Steve Price, Michael Carter, Connie Pineault and friend, Dick Newton, and Jayne O'Neill kept you safe when crossing the road.
Our check-in team of Linda McDonald and Deb Poodry signed riders in for the third time this season. These amazing ladies have welcomed you at every event for most of a decade!! It required our veteran team of Michael Cave, Joe Sandulli, Ed McCarthy, Jack Scully, and Steve Schnitzer to find spots to park so many trailers.
Volunteers and Riders were well fed by Louise Kent, Carole Ganz, Julie DePaolis, and the ever-present Rodney and Jayne O'Connor. Janine Jacques had coffee for you by 7:00 a.m., as she has for every event for the last ten years!!
Dave DeAngelis and Becca Wood, who always seem to be in six places at once, and doing as many jobs, and were in top form again Sunday!
Constant volunteers Paul Spiers, Dorothy Stookey, Joan Henderson, Abby Bertelson, Joe Deary, Susie Banta, and Ellen Morgan Vasquez were in attendance once again. Julie Siemasko, Daniel DePaolis, Alan Blackwell, Haley Hicks, Mary Ellen Mancini, Valyri Peck, and new subscriber Karen Hodge joined us. New subscriber Tricia Cretecos worked from 7:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.!!
Our Scoring Team of Lisa Lemons and Ashley Hill calculated your times with care. Iris Schnitzer and CeCe B. Fine studied all our costume entries with diligence.

Support your countryside and have loads of fun doing it!
The Myopia Spring Hunter Pace is a great way to ride cross country with your friends, win some ribbons, and enjoy a delicious awards dinner afterwards. The Spring Hunter Pace course runs through some of Myopia's most beloved hunt trails. There are divisions for all riders. We'll even partner you up with a team if you're riding alone.
Family members, friends, and fans are welcome to join us, too. We need volunteers! Our Hunter Pace exists because of its wonderful volunteers, so enjoy the spirit and camaraderie by volunteering for a morning or afternoon shift.
