Welcome to the 81st Annual New England Hunts Foxhound Show

It is our great pleasure to host this event at the Myopia Hunt Club in Hamilton, Massachusetts on Sunday, June 13, 2010.
Show Information:
The show will begin at 10 am. A special luncheon provided by subscribers and patrons of the Myopia Hunt will begin immediately after the Horn Blowing contest. For the Championship and Junior Showmanship classes, ribbons and trophies will be presented and hounds photographed in the ring at the end of each class.
To celebrate the show and welcome our foxhunting friends to Essex County, we will host a Hunt Meet at 8:00 a.m. Saturday at the Kennel, followed by a Stirrup Cup. Accommodations for people and hounds are available.
The Show Committee wishes to express our deepest gratitude to all those who make this show possible, including the judges, show and class sponsors, officials, and all of our tireless volunteers. We would like to extend a special thank you to all the hardworking hunt staff, amateur and professional, who will participate this year.
Please note, the club requests no blue jeans.

Class Sponsorship
Sponsors play a very important role in the promotion and preservation of foxhounds, foxhunting and our American sporting heritage. The NewEngland Hunts Hound Show Committee thanks its sponsors, past and present. Without their support, the hound show would not be possible, and part of our foxhunting tradition would be lost.

Juniors Program
Fun for All Ages: The New England Hound Show welcomes Juniors, ages 17 and younger, to participate in the show. The Juniors Classes are the highlight of every hound show, as we welcome the young people to interact with hounds. Juniors need only a love of hounds to participate--no riding or hunt experience required and we'll help them prepare for the show. Dr. Risé Sheehan will lead workshops on hound handling and showing at the Myopia Kennels in May--please register or contact Risé for more information.
Download Junior Registration Form here
Juniors who register by May 7th will have their names listed in the program, and may also be registered the day of the show.
